Advanced Filter
Tracks are filtered according to 1-4 criterias, which you can freely combine together by AND/OR operators.
Created filters can be saved under chosen name and applied later from menu or from the same screen.
Available as button
as well.
Notes about criterias:
"=" in numerical fields means usual "equals", in string fields means characters matching from field beginning -
remaining characters must not match, for example
- "Year = 199" filters 90's (field "Year" is handled as string).
- "Artist = Jack Brown" finds both "Jack Brown" and "Jack Brown & His Brothers"
"<>" in numerical fields means usual "less than and bigger than", in text fields means different characters from
field beginning - remaining characters must not match, for example
- "Year <> 199" skips 90's in database.
- "Artist <> Jack Brown" skips both "Jack Brown" and "Jack Brown & His Brothers"
"Exact match" means that whole field must match to the string.
"<",">",">=","<-" in numerical fields mean usual "less than, bigger than...". Those operators can be used in string
fields to limit the database, for example
- "Artist >= M" only leaves all artists from letter M to letter Z.
"Includes" means, that searched string can be found everywhere in the field (for example in lyrics)
"Doesn't include" means opposite of previous.
